September 6 - Lift from Falcade/Molino to Hike to Col Margherita.

I arrived in Falcade to find my hotel was ready for check-in - right next to the bus stop! I checked in and set off to walk to the lift, '1 km' away in the nearby hamlet of Molino.

Walking from the top of the gondola lift to the chairlift that ascended to the 'top', it seemed incongruous to see someone mowing the lawn.

According to my map, I was close to the Alta Via 2. I thought I would find it and add it to my walking loop. I found hints of an old trail, but I never did find the AV2. Fortunately, the terrain was so open that I could see where I was going - and didn't risk getting lost.
